Reuse is a word I like to use
I don't like throwing old clothes out because I might want to use the fabric to make something else...one day. I don't like throwing my scraps out because I might want to make a tiny patchwork quilt...one day. I don't like throwing out beautiful wrapping paper because its beautiful and I might want cover some draws with it!
You get the idea! So, I have made some bags from some old wooly jumpers!
The jumpers were felted in the washing machine first so that they weren't all flopy and stretchy.
Add a bit of liberty and voilà!
