London with my middle sis!

My sister came to visit earlier this year with her family. They live in New Zealand where she runs The Little Craft Store. They flew into London to do a bit of sight seeing with the boys so I arranged to meet them to get in as much time as I could being the naughty little sister! We had such good fun! And even managed to visit some amazing craft shops!

Ray Stitch on Essex Road

What a lovely shop & Cafe - Haberdashery & Pastries - that's my kind of heaven!
Their web site has lots of lovely pics for you to look at!

I bought some nice bulb pins for attaching lables to my products and some very fine entomology pins for when I need to hold something delicate in place.

I also bought some lovely thick ribbon to use as bag straps (I did get a beautiful peach colour too but I was too egar to use it and forgot to photograph it!)

VV.Rouleaux - Has more ribbon than you can dream of!

I only bought a small selection as I too have more ribbon than you can dream of!!

Liberty - last but by far means not least!

Those who know me know how much I love to use (or simply own a big stack of!) Liberty fabric. It is so pretty!

I got this lovely belt buckle...

...and a new Liberty bag!

This is my old Liberty bag which has held the same sewing project for...lets just say a very long time!

I do love this hexagon patchwork and I hope one day it will turn into my favourite item of clothing!
